ICU / Je te vois
Quand je lève les yeux de mon travail dans le silence de l’atelier, je les vois, petits et grands animaux qui vaquent à leurs occupations dans mon jardin de ville ou à l’intérieur des murs ; et eux aussi me voient, toujours vigilants, toujours un œil sur moi, prêts à détaler, à s’envoler, à se terrer. J’ai voulu raconter cet échange et dévoiler les autres habitants de la ville, sans verser dans l’anthropomorphisme ou l’idéalisation.

When I look up from my work in the silent studio, I see them, small and big animals, going about their daily lives, constantly on the alert, keeping an eye on me, ready to run off, fly away, hide into the ground. I wanted to describe this exchange and reveal the other inhabitants of the town, without anthropomorphism or idealization.
